Our Philosophy

At Artemocion, we’re more than a dance studio, we’re a welcoming, family-like community that celebrates creativity, growth, and connection. Whether you’re taking your first class or preparing for the stage, our professional instructors provide expert tuition in a positive, encouraging environment that nurtures confidence, discipline, and personal expression.

Our Story

From humble beginnings as a small studio with just a handful of students, Artemocion has grown steadily in both reputation and size. When founder Tania Turner handed over the studio, leadership passed to her daughter, Davinia Laferla Turner, who assumed the role of Head of Institution. Under her guidance, the studio reached new heights, introducing a wide range of dance disciplines and internationally recognised examination programmes. These include Ballet examinations with the Royal Academy of Dance and English Drama and Musical Theatre examinations with the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, all assessed by international adjudicators. Today, Artemocion Dance & Leisure Studio also offers Kung Fu Martial Arts, further enriching its multidisciplinary approach.

Opportunities & Growth

We offer performance opportunities, competitions, masterclasses, and international exchange experiences that broaden skills and horizons. Along the way, students form lasting friendships, create unforgettable memories, and many have gone on to gain recognition and build careers in the media and performing arts.

International Presence

Throughout the years, Artemocion students have participated in numerous international events and performances, including Port El Kantaoui, Carthageland Sousse, and Tunis in Tunisia, as well as Festa di Colori in Capo D’Orlando, Marea Grillozo, Taormina, and Città del Mare in Sicily. Former students have also showcased their talents in Paphos and Ayia Napa in Cyprus. In addition, the studio proudly took part in the Children’s Carnival in Valletta.

Recent Developments

More recently, Artemocion students further enriched their training by attending workshops across various dance disciplines at the renowned Pineapple Dance Studios in London.

The studio is proudly licensed with MFHEA as a Further Education Centre, reflecting our commitment to quality education and artistic excellence.
